BSc (Nut Med), D. N, D Iridol
We can find ourselves trying to fix symptoms without always knowing how they came about, how long they have been in the making, or which direction to follow. Many symptoms can be due to the same underlying causes even if you find they are being treated without connection. Nutritional Medicine aims to identify the root cause and encourage optimal body function down to cellular level since it is dependant upon specific nutrients. It supports recovery and health through evaluation of body processes and pathways, nutrient status and other factors including hydration, stress, toxicity, movement and rest. Our bodies are naturally striving to heal although may require assistance and nutritional medicine also helps prevention of chronic disease and kindly assists our aging.
If you require help with a current condition such as skin issues, gut or digestive problems, stress and anxiety, inflammatory conditions, blood sugar imbalance, fatigue, burnout, hormonal problems or if just seeking better health through aging, optimal fertility/pregnancy/support for your child's health, my aim is to guide and work with you in finding underlying causes and help resolve uncertainty. Symptoms can dramatically affect daily life and challenge your decisions and choices. Sometimes test results may not correspond with how you are feeling or aspects of your life may be causing depletion of nutrients and increased toxic burden on the body. My aim is to assist you in your healing which may include dietary alterations, possibly nutritional supplements along with other simple measures to align with your budget.
My interest in this treatment came through personal experience and the need to know how to repair naturally. I commenced my Diploma in Nutrition with the Plaskett Nutritional Medicine College, later gained my degree with the Thames Valley University and studied Iridology with Dr Plaskett. Nutritional Medicine is always strengthening in knowledge, evidence and testing and works very well with other complimentary therapies.
Making an Appointment
I can offer you a free telephone consultation where we can discuss your concerns and how nutritional therapy can help you.
You can either book your free consultation yourself by clicking on the link or email me at sallyszymon@aol.com
I may ask you no prepare a little information to include past medical history, a typical day's food and drink intake and treatments you have tried.
I can offer a discount on supplements and non-toxic products.
It is important to remember some conditions may have been a long time in the making so we may not realistically achieve quick results and can expect it to take some time to undo. I can support and assess you through this and usually recommend follow up appointments. It may be useful to use iridology (study of the iris which is mapped to areas of the body) as a diagnostic guide. I hope I can help you to develop trust in your recovery and ongoing healing and look forward to working with you.
